Hey guys I was wondering, would it be okay to work your muscles 2 times a week as opposed to once a week? Or would this not make a difference as our muscles need to regenerate anyhow?
I haven't done it yet, but i am wondering if it's a good idea to work each body part more than once a week?
Depending on your ability to recover from the first exercise, working a muscle twice a week can be beneficial. Personally, my quads can't recover from squatting fast enough to work them twice in one week.
Also depends on how advanced your training is and how used to working out your body is. I can work my legs out twice a week and they recover pretty quickly. But I usually try to only work out each body part once per week. It's like baking cookies....baking cookies at 350 for 20 minutes isn't the same as baking them at 700 for 10 minutes (by the way..I never bake cookies..so not sure if this is the right amount of time!)
