I work for a major .com company - my hours are anywhere between 10 and 12 hours, almost 6 days a week now. Since I can't get to the gym (like I should be) - does anyone know of any specific exercises that I can do at work (possibly at my desk) that would at least help out with my missing workouts?

I would really try and do some cardio and stretching. You can always bring some dumbells and use those. Good luck

Well don't you have some small breaks? Go out for a little run/walk, do some dips, push ups, crunches.....

I have an hour for lunch and 2 15 minute breaks - I do use those to walk or power walk....but as far as being in the chair, on the phone (I work for Amazon.com) - I need something for then...specific stretching, what lb weights and what type of exercises? Thanks in advance! You guys rock!

Well I would start with some lighter dumbells as you have to get them to work. also can do calf raises sitting at your chair with phonebooks on your thighs. Can do front laterals, flys, side laterals, depends what you want out of it!

Hi, There are some simple exercise that one can do at work, without using any dumbelles, as you sit in your chair, bring your right foot up, till it is parallel with the earth, hold it for 10 Sec or more that you can, don't forget to breath normally, bring it down slowly and do with this with left foot, repeat it for 5 - 8 for each foot and do it 3 or 5 times per day! for your arms you can raise one arm in your side, stright your arm and hold it for 10 sec bring it down and do it with your other arm, do it as the same for your feet. If you find those intersting I can suggest you some more exercises. Good luck!

Thanks for all the suggestions. Greatly appreciated. I have some 5 lb dumbells that I've take to work with me. And I'm trying the leg & arm lifts/extensions....I've got a new position now (just started yesterday) I'm walking the floor now - only sitting at the desk for about 3 hours a day now, so that helps......Any other suggestions - I'm all eyes.... :)

I read a bio about Dianne Sawyer, apperantly she does front laterals and calf raises in between commercial breaks!
