I just started working out like a month ago. I dont have a real big stomach and I dont really have man boobs but just a little fat, I am far from how big I want to be but im can already see improvements. But I read on all these forms for muscle growth you need to eat more calories then what you previously have been. (I dont eat much junk food) so how do I lose the little bit of weight I need to lose when Im eating more? If you could help Thanks

david - by eating 5 smaller meals a day with the right amount of calories, you will boost your metabolism and feed your muscles, which, in turn, burn more calories.
When you don't eat aenough for your activity level, you will store food as fat beause your body senses the calorie deficit as famine.
It is easy to understand when you look at it from a survival standpoint - your body is programmed to store bodyfat in times of famine for prolonged famine. Once you start eating quality fuel on a consistent basis at consistent intervals (every 3 hours), your body will see it as an abundant food source and stop holding on to those fat stores. it takes some time for your body to believe that the new food isn't a fluke, so stick with it.
You need approximaltely your bodyweight times 13 for calories daily, but if that is radically different than what you have been eating, you will need to adjust gradually.

A question here, asimmer: I guess 13 cals x bodyweight if you are working out? But how many days a week? Three, four, five? And how intense?
Thanks
