Do most of you listen to music while you workout? I have to have some really intense music when I'm lifting. Its definately a mental thing.... Reason I ask is because I've know a few people who can't listen to music or have a lot of noise in the vacinity because it breaks their concentration. Music is a must for me; it helps me get a little extra adrenaline rush when I need it.

Music is ok as long as you don't lose concentration on what your doing. A lot of people can't seem to focus when to many things are going on. Me personaly--I love to listen to Music. But like I said before in one of the other Posts. DO NOT play crap like N-Sync,Back Street Boys, I need something with a good tempo. Also I like strong lyrics not this wimpy stuff-- (OOP's! Lets do it again). That knid of music just kills me. How many people like LIMP Bizkit?

I like to have the hardcore stuff raging. Something which is heavy, intense and has a good beat is what I like. My favourite workout music is Sevendust, but yes Billk I have 3 dollar Bill on occasionally too

slipknot just seems a little to fast for my workouts, the beats are sort of weird.. Metallica before they sold out would rock, I'll have to try some of that out

Static-X and NonPoint are favorites of mine. I also like Slipknot, as mentioned above. I think my focus come "through" the music, meaning I get into the intensity of the song/music and go nuts on the weights.

Doesn't anyone like the old eye of the tiger? Any rocky song has the lyrics and tempo. Rage against the machine the first album with the burning monk is a great album from track one to the last (12 I think). Or Tool or a little P.O.D. There are so many good ones.
