Hi there,
I have been lifting weights for about a month now. I have been using a 2-days-per-week routine:
MONDAY: Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, Abs THURSDAY: Back, Biceps, Legs
Each day's workout is taking me about 75 minutes. I would like to split things up to a 3-day routine, but my schedule is really busy.
My question is: How much would I benefit from going to a 3-day routine, instead of my current 2-day routine? I have definitely seen gains with my current routine after one month, especially in the chest area. Would going to a 3-day routine make a big difference?
Thanks a lot!

All best luck to you!

I agree with Philia2 and atcis4me...it sounds like you are ready for a 3 day program at least. 75 min is a can be a very long workout, and if it doesn't fit your time constraints, then you need to change it. It is much better than having to quit because you can't do it. Go to 3 days, or even a 4 day split would be better. You can shorten your workouts to 30-45 min. and be done. A 2 on 1 off 2 on 2 off should work well if you like your weekends totally off. That way you can emphasize a muscle much more fully too. FT will give you a good split like that. Good luck.
