I've been working out for about a month or so. I was wondering if this is a good workout schedule for the week.
Mon.-Chest/Back
Tues.-Bi/Tri
Wed.-Legs/Abs/Shoulders
Thurs.-Chest/Back
Fri.-Bi/Tri
Sat.-Legs/Abs/Shoulders

are you a bodybuilder? how old are u? gender?
Your type of workout can often lead to overtraining...this is a bodybuilding type workout found in Flex/Muscle Media/etc and such...it's often/almost always done by bodybuilders using vast amounts of steroids that allow them to recover much much faster than natural lifters....those programs are also designed for very experienced lifters...those with a minimum 2 years of consistant full body training experience...at 1 month...you're just starting out...you'll quickly burn out using this workout...
My suggestion is to focus on exercises rather than bodyparts...bodypart training is becoming an outdated way of training, especially for people outside of bodybuilding....it's a convenient way to train but it's not necessarily the best....
Create your workouts around big exercises....Squats, Deadlifts, Pull Ups, Shrugs, Rows, Dips, Bench Press, etc....and don't train muscle groups more than once a week...it's a good rule of thumb that will help you prevent overtraining...

i wouldnt call 2 years experiance. I would call 2 years a trial. IN addition, those programs are designed to sell magazines.
I agree about training movement pattern splits vs. bodypart splits. Although this is something I have believed for a while now, before it was becoming "outdated". I have only ever trained on tbt or conjugated upper/lower.

Well if that isn't a good way to workout could someone give me an example of a good weekly routine. I plan on only working legs out once a week because I really don't like it. I also run a lot. I really want to focus on upper body. Abs, chest, back, biceps, triceps, shoulders. Thanks for the help.

If your just starting out go with an exercise program made up here. If not I would no work anything more than once a week except maybe calves and abs, I also notice looking at your example you got chest and then tri's the next day. Put a couple days between your chest and tri's workout so they are properly rested.
Don't forget to fill ut your profile.
Good luck!
