Workout with Soreness

Hi,
Is it ok to continue to work out thru soreness. I just started lifting and cardio and after my first couple of days my arms, triceps and abdominal muscles are sore. Should I keep working these groups or rest? I am on a Mon, Weds, Sat and Sunday routine. So I have rested for 2 days.

There is no harm in working sore muscles, as long as you have had a day or two of rest. You might even find that getting them moving again reduces the soreness.

If you really just started lifting your going to be sore, but i would push yourself unless u start feeling pain in a certain place. You will get to know ur body better, and if your looking for a good workout 2 start, dont forget about working the shoulders, everyone is always worried about the chest. But this website's routines should help you a lot.
