Lose the weight gradually with a healthy diet and exercise plan, use a firming lotion (i like jergens and St Ives, not too expensive).
It takes a long time for the skin to contract, and genetics will be a big factor in how elastic your skin is (did your mother have a lot of stretch marks/excess skin?).
Good luck!

I am 42, DivaDayna24, I am 5'7" and was 228 when I came to FT a little over a month ago now, I believe. I am down to 219 today, but was working out for a few weeks before starting with FT. I believe it is very important as asimmer mentioned, to take it slow, fast weight loss does not allow the skin to contract as easily. I guess my health outweighs any chance of saggy skin as saggy skin isn't detrimental to my day to day living as being overweight is. As I am losing, my skin is thus far fine, but it is only 9 pounds, I guess I'll see after the next 69 pounds come off. After three children (though I didn't gain when pregnant) and lost weight and weight regained throughout the years, I have very, very few stretchmarks, but my daughter in law after one child is covered head to toe with them and has loose skin around abs (she is pencil thin and didn't gain do to pregnancy at all). It is genetic as asimmer mentioned, but again, your health is important - to you and to your family. Good luck to you!
Sometimes there will be stretch marks due to a fast weight gain, there is no cure for stretch marks although topical retinoic acid and laser treatments may lighten them. Treatment may not be worth the cost since it won't completely eliminate stretch marks. Topical camouflaging makeup provides a quick cover up for stretch marks.
