The question is if I could eat cheeseburgers and not gain weight, then would I eat anything other then cheeseburgers? The answer is NO...I love em...and miss em at the same time.

I'll occassionally stop and get me a small burger at McDonalds or something...but no cheese. This is usually only when i didn't get to prepare lunch and am rushed though....maybe once every 2 or 3 weeks. One time they messed up my order and put cheese on it by accident. I didn't want it to go to waste and the cheese was all melted to the bun and meat...what was I supposed to do? :( So I spent some extra time on the bike over the next few days working it off.

hehe.. a good alternative to fast food cheeseburgers is to just make out own. they can be much more healthy than store bought, and we know all the stuff that goes into them. great way to satisfy the craving.. but still stay within the healthy eating guidelines..

I thought cheese was good for you
since we are talking about making it at home - how about baking the buger on one of those pans that let's the grease drip off??

exactly, like the hamilton beach/george foreman grill with lean cuts of meat and (if you're concerned) fat free or low fat cheese.

I gotta say yes to that one, throw in some onion rings and a couple of Michelobs and I would be a happy camper!

In todays meat processing world, there are probably plenty of steroids already in your burger

You know, I got to thinking later....just because the burger and junk food wouldn't make you fat doesn't mean it would be healthy for you...so if it came down to being unhealthy even though I wouldn't gain weight, I guess I'd have to leave the burger....behind....so sad....

You have to remember that the numbers include the bun, mayo, and all other condiments. Looking at the protien alone, I would say they are made from chicken

Hmmm...I have the opposite problem right now - afraid to eat because it may come right back up 9sorry about the visual on that one)..
Here is what i ate yesterday (and it is more than I have eaten in 4 days):

Kid size yogurt
1/2 size protein shake in crystal lite
sugarfree jello
sugarfree pudding
half a fillet of mahi mahi
1/4c mashed yams
1/2c green beans

I wish a burger sounded good right now.... I am sure my body is slowly eating away at my muscles.

I had oatmeal
a pear
chicken salad
egg plant baked in tomato puree onion and garlic and a little white wine.
Umm a little bowel of rice pudding because the egg plant wasn't filling and there was nothing else in the house.:(
