Yo I heard that when you do wristcurls you should have your fingers at the end of the dumbbell instead of the middle?

the bar down at the fingers, instead of in your upper palm, probably works more of the finger flexors, and a good way to it the finger flexors is by letting the bar roll down the fingers, and then roll the bar back up the fingers, carefully not to let the bar roll of to the ground, plus you do this movement behind you, with the bar by your rear,if this isnt what your looking for, then correct me.

Depends on what you are aiming to achieve. Behind the back wrist curls are a great alternative exercise to have in your rotation. As for bar placement, I prefer to roll the bar out to the tips of my fingers, close my hand bringing the bar up in my hand, and then do a full wrist curl. This works your fingers as well as your forearms. hope that answers your question.
