Most of those guys are on steroids, sorry. But you can start with a good diet, hard training and joining a local wrestling school (there is one here called SWF or something). They teach you how to fal and help you build up a character story and sometimes lead to the bigtime.
Good luck! -------------- "To be able to go to the gym and train hard is a joy and a privelege, even though the hard work necessitates driving yourself through considerable discomfort. Savor this privelege and blessing, and revel in it." Stuart McRobert, Beyond Brawn |

Dude if you think that at the wwe level and to get to that level that you can do so and be a huge star without "help" you are sadly mistaken. I am not saying that all are on roids but mayeb you should read rowdy Rodney Pipers autobio book.....most if not all of them are on one form of drug or another....look at lex lugor, and others....I mean for real.-------------- LIFT HEAVY! Read Dynamite Kid's book to get a good outlook on how steroids run rampant in the wrestling locker room. I am a huge wrestling fan and it saddens me that the majority of them are on the juice. So many wrestlers die before 50 and the majority of it is caused by drugs or steroids. To add some light to this dark topic, I am going to Wrestlemania on Sunday! Can't begin to tell you how excited I am.-------------- Hecdarec in full effect. |

10 years ago, superfly jimmy snuka was huge, now, he was on last night, and he is pathetically small and weak looking. You can tell his body didnt take too well to getting off steroids.

There may be a 5-10% of the wrestlers who aren't juicing, sorry man but mutt is right, you cannot look like those guys look and not be jucin, it just ain't possible. Scott Steiner for example, when he first broke through WCW, with his brother Rick, he had long hair, probably weighed about 180, 190, wore his college wrestling singlet for god sake, it wasn't even tight on him, a few years later, he was off the program, WCW for like 1.5 to 2 years, comes back, he is 245, jacked, veins popping out everywhere, claiming he is a genetic freak, yeah freak who shot juice in his a$$. I am a huge wrestling fan, have been since I was like 5, it sucks that you cannot say, those guys are healthy, they eaty right lift, and say there prayers, but the truth is a lot of them have come from rehab, drug and alcohol abuse, jail. It goes on and on, so these guys are not saints or role models, rather businesmen who do things to there body for 2 things, the paycheck they get, and the adrenaline rush they get walking out in front of 20-30,000 fans every night.

COMMENT: Every other week, it seems that another pro wrestler has dropped dead at a young age. Mike Lockwood, known professionally as Mad Mikey and Crash Holly, is the latest casualty, but there's a long list of premature deaths which include Road Warrior Hawk, Ravishing Rick Rude, "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig, Davey Boy Smith, Brian Pillman, Yokozuna, Terry Gordy, Rocco Rock, Louie Spicoli, Miss Elizabeth, Eddie Gilbert, Art Barr, and Kerry Von Erich. Sadly, this list is far from complete," a somber KJames199 writes. "While Owen Hart died in the ring when a stunt went wrong and the Junkyard Dog perished in an auto accident, quite a few of the deaths can be tied to drug use. Many wrestlers use steroids and/or Human Growth Hormone (HGH) to look like they do, then follow it up with painkillers to let them handle a life where bumps, bruises, and broken bones are a part of the job, and where you often don't get paid if you don't (or can't) work. The cost of this drug use is now being seen with young wrestlers dying at an alarming rate. If NFL football players were passing away at the same rate, it would be an enormous scandal. However, the media (with a few exceptions) seems to turn a blind eye to these deaths, possibly not willing or able to cover fake wrestling in a serious manner. I dont know how old you are John but my take on pro anything these days, with a few exceptions please note...many use. I know enough of them to tell you they use so they can compete with the others. Scott Steiner weighed 190lbs in high school. The guy has always been big. He wrestled heavyweight in college. Not saying that he isnt on the juice because it is obvious. Just saying he has always been a big guy. I have tapes of him from the late 80's early 90's. ATIGER you can best believe I will have a post about Wrestlemania. Yes, great post CC...Another problem the wrestlers are facing today, and I have witnesses it first hand with a few of them, is painkillers, namely oxycontin. These guys and gals are performing day in and day out through gruling physical conditions and without steroids or painkillers, it can be next to impossible to keep up. The drawback...ADDICTION AND DEATH. Its sad to know that every time I watch WWE, I know that pretty much all these wrestlers are drugged up. :(-------------- I can beat Mario Brothers without losing a life. Jdelts@freetrainers.com |

J,
Remember way back in the day when it wasn't like that, there were a few guys in the business who were massive and cut but for the most part, the guys were just normal looking guys, not really ripped up at all just tough as hell. I think the advertising and marketing of it all which obviously made it more propular also had a great deal to do with how the wrestlers should look and the majority of those guys could not meet these needs naturally. But yeah it sucks when your sitting there watching it and you see these massive guys who in normal situations would give me motivation because they physical conditioning is amazing but instead I feel sorry for them at the price they pay not just mentally but how much stress and pain, sickness they cause their bodies. For what? Fame, money, some say love of the sport, but how can you love something that is causeing your lifespan to decrease dramatically? The proce to me doesn't seem worth it. newbreed |

Nobody said they werent good guys. The fact of the matter is that the majority of them are on the juice. Not a shot at them, just a reality. It is their choice; the only thing that saddens me is all of the premature deaths that are directly caused by steroid and drug use. You cannot deny it. -------------- Hecdarec in full effect. |

those books that you mentioned are from guys who were big in the '80s, when not just roids, but drugs in general were huge. i believe that a lot less guys are on juice now, than in the '80s. You look at the top 10 in the wwe now, and most of them don't 'appear' to be on juice.

The rumor out today is that Lesnar told WWE that he is leaving after Wrestlemania and it will be his last match. Goldberg is going to leave also unless they renew his contract so until the Lesnar anouncement - it was a given that Goldberg would lose. If the Lesnar statement is true, there is no telling who will win. It may also be a tactic because it is widely known that Goldberg is probably leaving after Wrestlemania

angle and lesner both look exactly like they did when they were in the olmpics and ncaa. i wouldn't really consider batista top 10. eddy has gradually gotten a little bigger over the last 10 years or so. hbk is most likely not on it. Benoit and HHH i could see being on. But not as many guys as there used to be. Back in the '80s, early '90s, you had to be on to be at the top. Not so much anymore.
