I agree on that point considering I have tried many diet pills in the past. This one however had good reviews when I searched it online so I'm hoping it will be my little "wonder drug" while I know that there is no such thing One can always dream. I do know that for the first time in months, after having been rudely awaken by my hubbies ferret at 7am, I feel no tiredness and actually have energy going into the afternoon. I normally don't get up till after 9am so this is a big deal for me. I don't know if you want to call it the placebo effect but whatever it is I'm liking it:big_smile:

I used hydroxycut for a while. The only place I lost any weight was in my bank account. I'm a stickler with money and I won't spend money on anything but what is most important for health and well being, but that is just me.
The best thing I found, that gives me a ton more energy and is a hell of lot cheaper: coffee and lots of it!! I honestly think those pills are nothing more then fancy little green tea and coffee dirivitives. But that's just my opinion.

LOL I would just stick to coffee for the caffine boost but after about 4 cups it starts to make my stomach upset. . . you see I practicly lived on nothing but coffee and toast while in High School so my system doesn't let me drink too much of it anymore w/o making me sick.

Unfortunately, with ephedra being banned, most diet pills will just be glorified caffeine pills with a few extra ingredients thrown in to sound really good, ex. Green tea, bitter orange, chromium.

Kyrah, are you still taking the xenadrine? I have just started to take it this am, and not sure if I should keep at it, or throw it away?? I am confused. Thanks

ok, maxcdc, I have lost about ten pounds in the last two weeks, mostly from drinking water instead of soda and being more active and changing my eating habits. Is this bad? I am actually happy with the results I have been seeing, but an now wondering if I should be doing something different. Before I only drank soda, ate junky type foods and didn't move around very much. Now I eat more veggies and fruits, exercise every day and drink water, sometimes iced tea.

Give yourself a couple more weeks swee_tee. What your seeing now after only 2 weeks may just be water weight and time of day. It usually takes about three to four weeks to start seeing any valid results from diet. Weight can be a funny thing, you might think you lost 10 pounds, but in reality only lost four or five. Your weight can fluctuate as much as four to eight pounds throughout the day. Make sure you weigh yourself in the morning at the same time each week and keep track of your measurements.
