Supplements can be a great aid with your health and fitness goals. Combined with the proper exercise and nutritional plan they can be quite effective.

Man, I thought I was half skinny and half strong, but my gym measured my bodyfat yesterday and it came out to 18.3%. Somewhere on my body is 30lbs or so of fat. I was thinking maybe 15. Uggg.

Anyhoo, I just started Tonalin CLA and hoping to get some extra ummph from it. I'm not willing to mess with ephedra anymore. Also, Muscle & Fitness put a NICE booklet out about nutrition and supplements (you can buy it here: http://www.musclestuff.com/totalnutrition.html ) so I'm sort of following their guides for the best and cheapest weight loss supplements.

This is the most comprehensive review of supplements and recipe's and medical descriptions about keeping lean mass and losing fat that I've seen. It's worth the 8 bucks; you can prolly find it at your local grocery store or wherever you get your magazines (It's smaller than a typical magazine, and it's called "Total Nutrition," by Muscle & Fitness.

They actually push green tea extract pretty hard too, and ephedra, which they claim is still utltimately safe.

Don't freak out too hard....18% is pretty damn decent for a male! If your goal is to get to a certain percent, great - there's your goal! But just staying under 20% is major bonus. Plus, don't rely too much on just one BF reading - they vary alot by method and even who's taking it!

Best of luck!

Ok Rev, I won't freak if it's decent...what is your body fat? Noirtula I'm gonna do like Rev said and just get averages...maybe that'll be more accurate.

Hell, nort - I wouldnt have put you over 16%!
I have NO idea what mine is currently, Ogun; have never really been too concerned about it being a powerlifter. As long as I stay in the teens, I'm happy.

Roger that cari; there are plenty of people on their death beds right now at 10% ;) Means nothing, unless it's bothering you. I was just surprised I guess.
