Ok, what was the bestest most favorite car you ever owned? (like that word, bestest? :))
I will start, have had alot of them, but probably my most favorite was 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger, 340 bored out, dual scoops on the hood, yellow, racing stripe around the trunk. Talk about a 'muscle car', this was a screamer! -------------- Maximus from Gladiator....Strength and Honor! |

That's an easy one Ron - I restored a 1961 Triumph TR3 in 1976 and drove that thing till 1988 as my primary vehicle. If I hadn't gotten tired of playing McIver to keep it running I'd probably still have it. The last time the carbs needed balancing was on the interstate and I was wearing a dress white uniform. It got sold about an hour after putting the sign on it.

hmmmmm....well I guess mine is a little boring...a 1990 ZX...twin turbo, pearl colored black leather interior...don't know much about it...but it was fast...the car I had the most fun in????My brothers fist car was a lime green gremlin...he hated it...we beat the absolute crap out of that car waiting for the day it would break down so dad would buy him a new one...we stripped the reverse gear in it...that was the first to go...we're all lucky to be alive we were so hard on that car.

It would have to be my hubby's current vehicle, an Acura TL fully loaded. That puppy can move and boy can it handle tight corners. I usually have to drive our family dodge caravan around, so when I get my hands on the Acura, look out. He always looks nervous when I ask for his keys. Hey, my Dad was a fighter pilot, what can I say, speed is in my blood. My cousin let me drive his BMW X5, fastest car I've ever driven, it even has shift paddles on the stearing wheel. It's incredible how well this car handles speed!! If it wasn't for the price tag, I'd be driving one of those:)

Probably in the 'newer' days, my favorite was in 95 I bought a pearl white brand spanking new Thunderbird. V8, all the bells and whistles. Paid extra for the paint.
This baby had heated leather seats, Boze surround sound, moonroof, dual climate control...name the accessory, it had it. I had so many folks ask me what that color was. Soon it became a standard on many vehicles, mostly T bibrds and Cougars though. Mike...what memories..a Triumph...great little cars. Remember the MG's? Also had a Grand Prix I just loved....that would whoop anything off the line...very underrated the GTP. Alas, now I am a 'family' man and have settled for gas mileage. Now driving an '06 Cobalt. :( -------------- Maximus from Gladiator....Strength and Honor! |

I'm the process of restoring my '69 Bronco (I can get rubber on ALL four wheels...lol). And, currently my Hummer H2 is the greatest. However, my future vehicle of choice is going to be:

With the three I listed, I don't need anabolics; I've got enough T to last me a loooong time! *Tim Allen grunt* -------------- Michael That which does not kill me... would probably kill you. |

You bet Ron - That TR was a blast going down the TN mountains (not much fun going up :) ). I had a '67 GTO and one of the smarter things I've done in my life was get rid of it before I let it kill me. :)

I had a 72 Chevelle SS for a few years. It turned heads but, between gas and restoration/performance parts, also turned my hard-earned cash into thin air.
My absolute favorite car I've ever owned was recently totalled (September 29th - not my fault). I had a 2000 Camaro SS, LS1, 6-speed, T-tops, etc. It was my baby. I even set up a website with pics: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/324307 I miss it.... :(:(:( -------------- --JBennett "I've up-ed my intensity.... now up yours!" Old:
1970 Chevy Monte Carlo SS, Loved that car and my first from my dad! no real performance enhancements to it because I didn't really know about it at the time. What I would give to fix that up with the knowledge I have today... Newest and current: 2000 Ford Mustang GT Convertible, 4.6L V8 16-valve single overhead cam, 260 horsepower, 302lb ft of torque, Performance Red with black top, black interior, customized Tru-Dual Flowmaster Original Two Chambered 40 Series Exhaust that makes that baby roar like a lion!
