wow. I love leg extensions. They burn so much! I look in the mirror for the walking lunges to make sure I'm using the right form, but I don't think I look good doing them.

I hate incline presses. Hate em, hate em, hate em.
I hate incline presses because they use my weakest body parts, and that's why I do em so often. Someday I'll be good at em. P.S. Hi, Lydia here. New member. I'm on the muscle mass program, which kicks my ass, and I love it! |

Legs - all related exercises. Used to be my favorite until multiple injuries (including an accident) put an end to the good 'ol days. Now I find them simply boring.

Deadlifts for me! I love Squats though and even lunges, but when I put Deadlifts in my workout I have to do them very near the end of my workout cause I'm pretty much done after that.

Yea, so lunges today. They suck. Like, screw that.
I'm sticking with step ups for unilateral leg work. Its more quantified, and I can use more weight. -------------- Iron and chalk. Pain is only temporary, it is in your mind. If you can still walk, then you can still run. |

Did you substitute chin ups with a different exercise? My problem is I don't think I'll be able to do chin ups. Thank you in advance for our input. ============ Quoting from tenorsaxmandave: Chin-ups. Bench Press is a close 2nd. You can try lat pulldowns or use an assited chin machine if one is available. This should help you build some strength to be able to do them eventually. But, you should still try to do as many chins as possible. -------------- I see the words you are typing, but all I read is *click*click*click* Fat loss isn?t under the control of the magic fat loss fairies. - Alwyn Cosgrove |

Thank you; although I was going to try and avoid chin-ups, I will give it a go and perhaps top-up with lateral pulldowns until I am able to complete the recomended reps.

Make sure you do them correctly... full extension at the bottom and chin ABOVE the bar at the top. Have fun. :)

I know I'm weird but I hate calf raises, they're one of the most useless excercises in my opinion. I like compound movements like squats and deadlifts cuz they hurt so good

Nobody says leg extensions? That comes to me as a surprise... That's an essential workout but if improperly done can cause much pain in the knees.. I hate doing them out of fear I will damage me knees.
I don't understand everyone's problem with the lunges though... They're so easy... It makes me think I do them wrong to see all of you complain  |

Bent-over flys, cause I just look like I'm in the wrong "position". Bent over like that does not suit me, especially with all the guys walking around the gym.
