I have noticed a lot of people talking about and/or recommending ZMA and was wondering where I could find more information about it and what ZMA supplements you recommend.

The product I take is called Z-MassPM...it is made by Cytodyne Technologies (makers of Xenadrine). You can check out their products on their website (www.cytodyne.com).

Cytodyne also has Cyclo Z-Mass, a sublingual ZMA supplement. It takes absolutely horrible (I tried 2 bottles), but it works like a champ. I have been been taking ZMA-HP from EAS (www.eas.com). I like EAS because the company is very reputable and because of the other nutrients they include with the ZMA like vitamins B, C, and E, as well as N-aceytlcysteine.
Just a bit of a background on ZMA..... ZMA was developed by a company called SNAC System, Inc. Most (not all) companies use the zinc and magnesium aspertate from SNAC. These supplements are going to be the most effective. Don't buy the store stuff; its just a cheap spin-off. Go with someone reputable when selecting a ZMA product.

You're right about the taste of Cyclo Z-Mass...yuck! But, what's the difference between Cyclo Z-Mass and Z-Mass PM?

I just read some information on ZMA and saw that it increases the testosterone and IGF-1 levels in your blood and was wondering if I should take it because I am 16. I don't want to take anything that is going to screw up my body by messing with my hormones. Should I be worried about this or is it safe for me because it is only zinc and magnesium.

Good point about your age. You could consult with a physician before taking this supplement (or any for that matter).
