I bought a multi called "Multi Maxx," wich has extra zinc in it, and a magnesium supplement. I am wondering if this should do the same job as ZMA.
Also, the multi has extra chromium. I am wondering what this does.
Thanks

ZMA is all about sleep. If you are 'older', by default it may have some impact on testosterone by default. Zinc in a deficiency state can boost testosterone in older individuals. That being said, sleep is your most anabolic phase of your program, as your rest along with diet will determine much of your progress. ZMA insures sound sleep, in fact enhances your 'quality' of sleep.

So for a younger person it wont affect testosterone levels much?

Nope...all hype. If you look at the one and only study purporting this, it was done by Victor Conte. Balco steroid scandal. They were marketing their 'clear' as ZMA.

So what is a good T booster for younger people?

Eat good and train. There is some research that a high fiber low fat diet will drastically decrease test levels. But the good news is it this is easily taken care of with a change in diet.

So you dont think that any of the testosterone boosters actually work?

Yes, but ZMA is not one of them.
