You are doing good if you ask me. I sure couldn't do that at 13. But forreal, don't worry about your numbers in comparison to others. Most of the people on this site don't like to answer these types of questions, but you're obviously new so I didn't want to leave you out in the cold. If you want to know your progress in relation to the average, you could find it on a table or chart I am sure. Who cares if it's average? It's the best you've got, and as long as you keep bustin your butt, it's good enough.

135 for that age is pretty good, I did the same but was no where near in military press. Don't compare to others, its not really fair untill you get into weight classes and stuff for powerlifting.

What is the point of looking good if you can not use the muscles for what they were meant for?

rko, this is the powerlifting forum. No one here lifts for aesthetics. We lift for athletics.

A nice cut body will win over the ladys over a bulk physique and i don't know many people who look good and are weak.

And why be big if you can't be aerobic?

Well believe it or not, not everyone lifts to "win over the ladies". I know lots of people that are cut that are weak. I would have to say about 95% of my gym.
Besides, I let the blonde hair and blue eyes win over the ladies.

LOL most Pro bodybuilders are weak little kittens compared to a Power lifter. I rather be fat and strong then cut and weak. I have my woman and she is all I need so I have no need to feed my ego.

that reminds me of one of my class mates. he thinks he's all strong and everything, but he can only bench 80. the only reason he looks strong is cuz he dont got no fat on him. as opposed to me, who is fat but can kick ass like no other. so people think that they're all that just cuz they look strong, but really, they just thin.
