Progress finally... It's 7:45 and I am still full of energy. That has not happened all week. Not gonna work out just yet though. I'm gonna do my lesson plans for next week and get ahead a little first. After tonight....I am refusing to bring work home for at least a month! Because....I WILL workout as scheduled!!!

My hubby brought me takeout from a lil Mexican place tonight, a chicken burito...and I ate almost ALL of it. (It is a huge one, the biggest I ever saw, we usually split it.) I think that is the most I have eaten in one sitting in weeks!

Several people at work have noticed that I lost weight. One father of a student I taught last year could even tell me that last year I was a size 10....but this year an 8...hahaha! He is nothing but a big flirt! But, I know I still need to stay on track and loose some more. I really hope to get back to the working out this weekend.

Hope you guys are keeping up the great work....even though I have been slacking.

KC....the optomistic teacher in me thinks that maybe Aaron is busy doing all his homework, studying hard, and keeping up with track practice.... As to properly prepare himself for future opportunities.

I was doing so well....then yesterday happened!I didn't eat bad stuff...I just ate!!My measuremants aren't so hot..but here goes:
arm 11.8 same
chest 33 -.5
back 33.7 -.3
waist 30 -.5
pelvis 34.2 -.3
hip 36.8 same
leg 21.9 same

For a total loss of 1.6 inches...not great...I'm hoping to get my waist under 30 next week.My waist and pelvis are always trouble...even at my thinnest my waist was never smaller than 26 inches...and my poochy abdomin is awful.I'm just tall enough that I can get away with alot though.

That's a good plan to get ahead and not take work home....I do feel for your teachers...it must be a calling to teach...I would have those kids tied up praying for the end of the day!!!You'll get back on track soon...as long as you don't start gaining what you've lost we're in good shape!!I'm sure you're right about our little Aaron...miss him though!:)

I did it!!! I added 10 pounds to my weights today. It took forever and I had to lower my reps from 8 to 6...I could tell I was going to do a number on my back if I didn't pay real close attention to what I was doing. After next week I'll work on getting my reps back up...then putting more weight on the bar!!

How are you doing dna...haven't heard from you.

ANyways enough of that lol i walked both yesterday and this morning. I feel really good about it all :) I'll get back with you guys later cause i may go do some more laps hehe it's suppose to be another scorcher today here in the Lone Star State. lol Amen to that KC i'm fine just as long as another RITA doesn't come my way. lol that was some scary stuff when you have a 20 ft tall tree next to your home and it's touching the ground on either side. I see the breeze blowing looks like a great opurtunity to go walking but wished it would rain soon.

OK, this is the 3rd week in a row that my tape has been at my Mom's. You would think I would have remembered to get it by now...but this is not the case. The scale says 130. But I have not done much working out this week. I will get back on track tonight!!! Going shopping tonight and I will pick up a new tape myself. After shopping, I will workout. Hubby says he will lift with me tonight...hahaha! We shall see.

Sounds like you are doing well KC. Still going in the right direction! Progress, Progress, Progress!!! Great Job, Keep it up!

Well it's just like me Angel!!!Chocolate cake for breakfast seems like the breakfast of champions...remember that old skit from Bill Cosby...the kids want cake for breakfast and he looks at the ingrediants and says hey...this has milk and eggs...and the kids sing..."Dad is great,he gives us chocolate cake"...cracks me up!!

I'm doing an experiment and dropping most of my cardio and going to focus heavily on a weight routine.Did legs yesterday...not bad,my bum is a little sore today. But today is shoulders and I know it's gonna hurt! We'll see how it goes.

dna...have fun with the jumprope and let us know how it goes!!

I have been continually hungry too KC. EAT EAT EAT that is all I want to do. I know my problem. I have been getting myself dressed and the boys and getting us off to school, have not eaten breakfast. So....my body stays hungry in the evenings. Now, to fix that problem....will be a challenge.

Hello Hello Aaron. I told KC you were busy studying and running cross country. Was I right?

Well at least your hungry....I just want to eat...it's terrible!!I did a little better yesterday, hoping for more improvement to day. What about just making a quick protien powder shake...or even the cans of slimfast, not an ideal breakfast but something should be better than nothing.

Aaron...you ditched out again already???

dna...how's the workouts coming along...did you ever get a chance to pick up those fish oil pills??

Sorry, Right now all i have been doing is eating, cross country is taking alot out of me, i thought i was in shape but obviously im not. We are usually running about 4 miles a day, and then our first meet is this saturday in Amarillo, wish me luck, get to wear my friggin real cool spikes,

Yes Angel I have been studying and running, im in ALL AP classes this year, hoping to get some college hours in,

My weight is just fluctuating right now between 160-168 so i guess im happy, I'm going to start running and working out my legs i want them to be real cut and defined lol, I saw this picture of this guy running and his leg is like WOW. lol

KC about your question all I did was take bottles of water around with me All day, thats what i'm trying to do now, I drank 2 bottles of water in 3 hours, and thats alot for me. But i was drinking about 2 gallons of water in the summer. Mostly it is self control and restraint, its very difficult, i wish you the best of luck.

Most people can't tell the difference in the pains of being thirsty or hungry, so if you think you are hungry take a few drinks of water, and if your still feeling the pains or something you probably need to eat, it would also be benificial to make serving sized snacks so during the day you dont make bad snack decisions, personally i really like to eat gronola, but hey thats me.

Sounds good aaron...I'll try the water and stay on top of my snacks!!

I have another question for you...my 17yo nephew is on the track team here in San Antonio(do you ever compete against schools here???)He's looking for new track shoes...he wants help from us,but we're not to sure what to get...he's looking at VERY expensive shoes, knowing full well his mother can't afford them(thats another story)...what do you recomend..and where do you buy them??Thanks kiddo!!!

Angel and dna...how goes it????

No we dont compete with schools there, maybe when and if we ever go to state. lol. But... if he is looking for spikes i have Nike Kennedy Xc's they are an outside 3-4 mile running spike, if he is a sprinter i would check on eastbay and all that jazz... im not a sprinter or anything so i dont know. the spikes that i got were 80$ or so, but i got the ones that were really cool lookin instead of the stupid blue flame ones. that are exactly the same. so i dont know. If he is just looking for a running shoe, I use the new Nike shoes with the Nike+ ready thing that has the chip i nthe shoe and all that good stuff... Another good shoe is Asics or somethin. If you guys have a RunTex anywhere around there that would be a good place to look, or tell him to ask his coach,

Ive been craving Oreo's the past 3 days and i finally had some and they were really good. haha, now i gotta go run 3 miles, wish me luck not to puke up milk and oreos

Aaron, Oreos, huh? I have been craving nachos and cheese with lots of jalapena peppers. hahaha!

KC...gonna pick up some breakfast bars to keep in my desk at school for when I dont take the time to eat. That should help something. Maybe even some slimfast drinks for when I skip lunch.

OK guys....I just got a new job....quit my old one. What possessed me I do not know....???? Hope it was a good decision...??? Only time will tell.

Still not doing great on diet or exercise. I will not like the results I see tomorrow....I am sure of that. Gonna have to get into the swing of things with school.

Hey, the meet this Saturday went very well, IMO. I had 7:15min splits, got 38th out of 120, and my final finishing time was 21:45, Phil wasnt there this meet, but I'm pretty sure I could have easily beat him this meet.

Hey KC....nice to see your pic. Now I guess I need to put one. I missed Friday's check in!!!! I gained. I am really really slippin. Have lots and lots of stuff going on here. Been so busy. And to top it off...got in an arguement with my hubby last Thrus. night. (We never argue, so it was a pretty big deal!!! And I am still upset with him!!!! Anybody read this and interested in spouse swap, let me know.) My new job is in the same school system, but I will be teaching an elementary classroom, instead of middle school math. So, now I am setting up all over again. But I am happy to be with younger kids.

Aaron, "I think it was the shoes".... that sounds just like my son. He is 7 and says he is training for the Olympics (also wants to be a cowboy when he grows up) BUT...he always says "its the shoes." haha! He will say, "Mom, he has fast shoes, I want some like that." And there is no convincing him that it has something to do with the legs and feet. hehehe

I am gonna sign out now and go workout before I find some other excuse.

ELEMENTARY!!!!!!AHHHHHHHH...now I really feel sorry for you!!!Nah...just kidding...but that is one job I could never do!!!I know the feeling with the hubby...we rarely fight either...so when we do it's a doozy!!So take a deep breath and figure out a better way to explain to him how you are right!I know it's hard with the workouts....but stick with it...your groove will come around soon!!!I would have quit long ago if I didn't have you guys to answer to.

Hey KC, I worked out Monday night. Does that count for something? haha! I have been eating better this week. But, still would not say I am "in gear." Argueing with hubby has been draining all my energy. I am really not very good at argueing anyway. I guess eventually I'm gonna have to let him make up with me. But not yet! Tonight, I am going to buy a bottle of wine for after the kids go to sleep (for ME not US)!
I just got a digital camera, finally retired my 35mm. Tried to upload some pics but could not get them on ????? I thought I did it right.?. Will try again another time.

I had to have my hubby do it for me...you may have done the pic right...takes a couple of days. You must be really ticked!!!I can't stand being in an arguement...you're right much to draining....so I try and figure a compromise as soon as possible.Buying some wine for just YOU....sassy girl!!!Glad to hear you worked out monday and trying better with the food...we all lose track a little sometimes...as long as you don't let it keep you down...all will be fine!!

WOW KC (Aplause, Aplause)You are doing GREAT!!!! I know you have been workig hard to get your waise below 30 and now you've done it! WoooooooHooooooooo!!!!

Me, well I missed another check in :(, so I am obviously still not "in gear." The scale is going up. I finally have my new classrom all settled, so I am hoping this is my week to get back in the swing of things. Plus we have Monday off, so I will get to workout today, tomorrow and Monday for sure. 3 days in a row....That should jump start me back into the groove......I hope!
