Oh ya, I'm serious. Right Fremont with an "E". If you can find out that would be fantastic, and please send an email. I believe it's in Fremont. If he is an airplane fanatic he will definately know what I'm talking about. anyways bill from massachusetts, love kids, fast cars, cute puppies ( until he poops on the new rug and i step in it with bare feet and it squishes between my toes ), i love fishing, diving and KC_72's humor, besides all that you all know my story, i have a huge heart and wear it on my sleeve most the time, im just getting over a wicked cold, sinus infection, inner ear infection and strept throat, and the amoxicilin makes my poop stink, but i got off the couch today for the 1st time since wednesday and felt pretty good, hope ya guys held the fort whilst i was gone, i missed you guys and gals :love: -------------- By the time a man realizes that maybe his father was right, he usually has a son who thinks he\'s wrong .... ok ill keep this going with some facts you guys and gals dont know about me....
ummmm lets see, i currently drive a 02 dodge r/t thats been tricked out a bit, i also love restoring cars ( see profile for pics of 2 current cars ive restored and own ). i love the ocean and water in general, i must have been a pirate/swashbuckler in another life, ever since i was knee-high to a stink bug you couldnt keep me away from water, either sticking my head in the toilet when i was 3 or playing in puddles or swiiming in the ocaen in may ( bout 52 degrees ), i played alot of highschool football, out team stunk but i was good enough to get a partial free ride to the university of massachusetts where a knee injury ended that pretty quick and i just couldnt afford the school with out playing ball, so i joined the navy ( the water thing again )where i was trained as a deepsea rescue/salvage diver, loved that like i was meant to be there, did 2-1/2 years, got run down by a hummvee with 7 other seaman from my base, a freak accident but nonetheless i broke my back, and the navy dream went bub-bye in a hurry, that was 1993, met a girl from louisiana, fell in love and the rest of that story is sacred.... i hope thats good enough Kc, ive done alot of cool s#$t, we can chat with mutt somenight and ill tell ya's all about it.... -------------- I\'ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. |

Some facts about me:
I am one of 7 kids. I lived on top of a mountain as a kid. I started reading at 3 yrs old, and have not stopped. I have a degree in Archaeology. I like sci-fi stuff a lot, sort of a Trekkie. I love movies a lot, old new what ever. Mostly I like old action flicks. I am a huge Arnold fan. And, Wow, Bill! What an interesting life you have led! A lot of tragedy, though. It is fascinating to learn these things about evertyone, keep it going. Here are some things about me..I can't claim to be nearly as interesting as Mutt and Bill - I was a bouncer at a night club in my early 20's (favorite job) I worked for Sesame Street/Jim Henson's in my teens(I made lots of cookie monster feet) I am allergic to Big Bird's feathers and Grover's fur I was a stright-A studnent and math/science geek until mid-9th grade when o got bored, found drugs, dropped out. I went back and graduated with honors and a few scholarships (science and journalism). I am a weightlifting/bodybuilding nerd and collect old woemn's bodybuilding books the cheesier the better). My husband calls the gym 'The Amy Park' like a leash-free dog park for me.... Cause I have a BA degree which is pretty much useless, unless I want to travel. I met my wife 2 months before leaving for Columbia, MO to go to grad school realized in 3months of dating that she was the one. There are some neat details by you folks that never would have came out if this post had not started. I'm sitting in a place I'd rather not be and have some time so I'll throw a few things out there. I've been in and out of gyms most of my adult life and although not as obsessed with it as I once was, I still enjoy the atmosphere and what it does for me. I retired from the navy in '91 and have been in government contract work ever since.

wooohooo amy, i loved the cookie monster, though i never saw his feet, that must've rocked as a job. my favorite character as a child and still is " animal " from the muppets and the two old guys in the balcony that heckle everybody, statler and waldorf i believe are their names, along with marvin the martian. im bigtime into sci-fi, star wars ofcourse, farscape, dr.who to name a few,ummmm ive recently bought a bass guitar and practicing now and then, goal is to learn a few ac/dc songs ( favorite band of mine and my friend that died in the rhode island night club fire ).hmmm lets see, i love reptiles, namely chameleons and poison dart frogs, a vivarium is near in my future with frogs and turtles. i also enjoy vintage war planes and current aircraft, and have done all my ground time towards my pilots license. had patriots season tickets up until last year, i was too sick to go to the games and sold them to a few friends, i still go quite often, been to miami, buffalo, cleveland, indianapolis, east rutherford for both giants and jets for football games and new orleans for the 96 super bowl....ok my finger hurt, ill stop :P-------------- I\'ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. |

Now this is what I wanted!!!This is fun....Mutt..I already knew everything about you...you are kind enough to let me yack at you all day...except that you grew up on a mountain,and you had 6 siblings..Amy...I can't picture you as a dropout druggie...and that was cool that you worked with the muppets....Bill I had no idea you were in the Navy!!!When the kids were babies my husband wanted to do the salvage diver thing...until I met the wife of one...she hardly knew what her husband looked like..so I begged and pleaded and he dropped yet another school for me..and became an RT,they do not deploy...except for in time of war...who'd a figured we'd go to war...any way...Mike...I figured you were a secret agent of some kind as much as you come in and out of the country.I can't think of anything that you all don't know about me already...I'm such a blabber mouth...I have a tatoo and a belly ring...don't think you guys knew that...and when I was a kid...I was one of those scarey ones with the black hair and red lipstick and to much black eyeliner and wore black all the time..once I figured out my parents REALLY weren't going to kill me I went a little crazy...I'm surprised I'm still alive!!!!I had no fear as a teen,now I get so nervous in public I rarely will go by myself...OK...enough about me...and who the heck is Tim Baker?????

i had wanted to fly a6e intruders Kc as my original pick in the navy but my eyes kept me grounded, i actually enlisted as an aircraft structual mechanic than got into diving when my instructors saw how i took to the water in basics and they told me i could make 10k a week working on oil rigs, welding and such. it was tough training and always had a shark watcher when training off san diego, very scary sometimes.-------------- I\'ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. |

I know what a pheonix is....jeez...I'm not a total bubble head!!!!I still have no clue what you're talking about...wehther it be TIM or TOM!!!I bet you would all find it interesting that my family are all incredibly intelligent people...my grandfather was a aeronautical engineer,he even worked for NASA during his career,my father a civil engineer,both of my aunts are drs...one famous...if you google Dr.Carol Portlock you will see she is a world renound oncologist...but I take after my moms side of the family...my poor dad...I used to drive him crazy when he tried to help me with homework!!!And I'm the only one...my sister and brother both take after my dads side of the family...it was always hell to be the bubble head in the family...:)

Amy in a green mohawk...interesting...I was never brave enough for that...I had a very close friend that did though...man that was one tough little chic...she was maybe 5 ft tall...100 lbs soaking wet...but she would kick your a** for looking at her funny...glad we were friends...I'd a hated to have her as an enemy.In fact that reminds me of a story...sorry..short one...she got married when we were about 22 or so...I was dating my husband at the time and I asked him to go with me to the wedding..it was small very casual...so we end up at the reception and we walk in and my husband looks around then looks at me FURIOUS and says alright can we go now...I look at him and say what...he said you think they're gonna want me here..I said what are you talking about...and I look at all of my friends they were all still into the black and crazy haircuts and...doc martins with white laces...which apparently to him meant you were racist(did I mention my husband is Mexican??)I had never heard of that..my friends weren't racist...I think I would have known after being friends for so many years...but he still brings it up to this day...says I brought him to a KKK ralley...we ended up having a good time,and he got along with my friends well...but that was a tense first few minutes. |

Names Shawn and I'm a freetrainersaholic. 32 will be 33 next month...2 boys...met my beautiful wife in high school and got married 4 years later and have been married
11 years. Now something interesting about me...I went through the rebel phase in high school...got a few ear piercings...grew out the hair to shoulder length....did a lot of drugs and alcohol...ran a convenient store from 19-23 (yes Clerks was my favorite movie cause that was me to a T) then I had to get serious cause I had a kid coming and I had no money or insurance. Otherwise there's not much to say about me...I'm a pretty boring person. |
