Depends I have close to 19 inch flexed and people say the same to me but I always say no they need to be bigger. I am proud of them in that I know the level of work it took to get them there.-------------- Eat More, Drink More, and Lift Harder than you thought you could, welcome to Becoming! |

You guys sound like a couple of body dismorphic chicks...lol. 19 inch arms are very big and something to be proud of. Sure there's always room for improvement, but give yourselves some credit. Mine are less than 17 and people usually seemed pretty impressed. Be proud!-------------- OSU Law Rugby....specializing in personal injury and pain & suffering.

mine are 16 and a half and alot of people comment on them(I guess maybe because 16.5 is kinda big for highschool)...but I don't think they are big at all...especially when I hear you guys talkin about 19 inches!.....I want to hit 20 one day..that would be sweet

When you cut up a 19in arm...it looks huge! MZAKAL's arms look much bigger than 17 because he has good shape to them. When I competed my arms were down to 18 but looked big. Now they are...lemme go check....shade under 19 1/2 but since I've put on weight since the show, they look smoother and not as big.-------------- May the lift be with you. |

19 is huge compared to mine I have 13" garden snakes
mzakal-Hogan's arms arent really 24" they are billed at that to make him look more "immortal" scott steiner (dont know if you know who he is probably do) has 22" arms and his makes hogan arms look like mine. |

goldengloves....I've had the privilege of seeing firsthand the hyperbole of pro wrestling. I went to a "meet and greet" as a kid, and saw lots of wrestlers who were supposedly 6'7" etc. almost standing eye-to-eye with my 6' tall dad. I've never believed a word they say about size since then.-------------- OSU Law Rugby....specializing in personal injury and pain & suffering.

In scott steiners case genetics has nothing to do with his size.
hecdarec-so true I remember when they billed some wrestlers at 7 feet tall and then when a bigger guy came in all of a sudden they were 6'8 how does one lose 4inches? got me beat. If thats the case im 6'5 myself. |

Im 19 when flexed my arms are around the 13" mark it varies because when im done with my arm workouts and I measure them they swell like an 1/8" or so but if I measured them now probably around 13" they are starting to take form though. Noone in my family has ever had huge arms and neither will I we are thick chested in my gene pool so I focus on my body for what works (midsection). Jesusfrk1 you are probably much taller then me to im only 5'6 and 150 pounds. Take a look at my photos on the side before and after I am no beefcake when it comes to my arms lol I try to be though.

Im 6' and 170lbs, so yea I guess that would have something to do with it. No one in my family has anything but big guts so I'm really a pioneer for my family. My dad was 6'1" and 145lbs till he got married at 28. Now he weighs 190. Funny thing is, I want to be about 190 to 200 myslef.

my husbands arms are 21 inches flexed and 19 unflexed and he asks me all the time if they are big. He doesn't lift weights or anything but is naturally muscular and defined. I think you don't know they are big because you are looking down at them most of the time, and even in a mirror you really can't "step back" and see how big they really are.

can i go cry now? my chopstick-thin arms piss me off! My 12 inch bicep (yes this is the larger of the two) just makes me more and more discouraged. I lift, i eat, i lift, i eat...i try to do everything right...and i knwo the diet is the culprit which is why i posted in diet today about calorie count vs c/f/p Im not weak my any means (compared to y'all YES, others...no) Im at the gym and i see guys curling dumbells that weigh 5 more lbs than mine, and they have trouble with it (even on liek the second set of only 10) and their arms are huge. Im sitting there starting to struggle on the 10th rep of my second set but my arms are tiny.............. arrrrrrrrrrghhhhh i know i shouldn't compare, but damn it really gets to me because people doubt my ability to help them lift stuff etc....

Hey man, 18.5 Inch arms are BIG man!!! Congrats on getting them there!! Mine are 16" Flexed and I think they are Big...But I'd love to add another 2". I guess it depends on your frame as well, because on a guy like me, at 5'7" 18" arms would look huge. But don't short change yourself, 18.5 is quite big, and there are alot of guys wishing for arms your size!!

Why what does a waist measure ment mean Oh I see I bet that you are thinking that the higher the waist the larger the arm and therefore the arm is really fat...am I close? I do have a large waist, but I have been trainign for years to get my arms the size they are!-------------- LIFT HEAVY! BECOME STRONG, LIKE BULL! |

Here are my husbands measurements, and you guys can compare and tell me what he should work on. 54' shoulders, 37' waist, 19' neck, 21' arms, 28' legs. He is 6'2" and weighs around 270lbs.

everyone seems to be so worried about mesurements, i see that alot of guys bigger than me have smaller arms than me. i am 205 lbs. and have 17 inch arms and a 48 inch chest. my bulk is in my chest. i mean how much do you weigh andrew? 230-235, and you have a 50 inch chest only 2 more inches than me, i belive that it is quality size, not quantity. i mean who cares if you have 21 inch arms if they have no sculpt or definition to them, bluntly, if they are fat, you feel me?

clt- the 21 inch arms are my hubbys, and he is by no means fat, he is just an ox, moose..however you want to put it he is just a naturally large animal. he recently lost 25 lbs, and although not at his wrestling weight of 245, I can't even pinch the skin on his arms when he flexes. You have to watch how you put things, because sometimes they way they come out put people on the defensive. we were just putting up measurements to see where everyone was...take it easy

hey andrew, don't worry about that guy man, if youve got a chest 12 inches bigger than your waist, then your doin pretty damn good. i remember when i was talkin to a tailor when getting fitted for a tux, he was amazed by the fact that my chest was the size it was compared to my waist, he said most people dont have chests more than 5 or 6 inches larger than their chest. I'd say your doin pretty good my friend.

well andrew, you will not have worry about me anymore, for a while at least, i am being deployed again, as for my measurements for my waist and legs, well they are 18 inches on my calves and 28 on my quads and 32 inmy waist. sorry for offending you, i just talk before i think and i like to voice my thoughts alot, so that is the way i am and always have been, i can say don't take offence though if you got to know me you would understand, i am the type that i would give someone the shirt off my back, but at the same time piss them off just as easy, basicly man either you really like me or you hate me there is no inbeteween with me, and some people have trouble with that. sorry man best of luck with your college.
