oh man, you in deep doo-doo....

1st rule... always have a secret sum of money stashed for flowers, silver, gold and or diamonds, depending on degree of infraction...

2nd rule... Learn how to rub feet, and i mean really really rub feet, thats one of the ways to her heart.

3rd rule... Even if you are right, you are still wrong bro, a long marriage depends on making sacrifices, mainly you sacraficing you being right in any situation.

4th rule... Invest on a very comfatable couch, you may be needing it from time to time...

Those are just my opinion though...

So I am guessing the flowers did not work. Don't let it get to you. I'd say more about my thoughts, but I do not want to tick off the fine ladies (and KC) on this site.

This is a big difference between men and women. Let me let the women in on a little secret. If we ask you what is wrong and you say nothing....WE WILL ASSUME NOTHING IS WRONG!!! Very simple concept

Now advise for Mutt (I am going to sound like a girl on this) but as Dr Phil says " Do you want to be right... or do you want to be happy?"

RIght!!!!! It is her 30th and plus we are trying again for a baby and she took a test this morning that showed postive right away, then after 10 mns was gone so she thinks it was a false positive.......Like I need her any more nuts right now lOL

Oh mutt...quit being a jerk!!!!!The 30th birthday is very hard!!!!You know how much I love birthdays...and I even had trouble with that one...and wanting another baby...and not getting that(maybe) is very hard too...you don't need to be RIGHT...shes got alot on her plate...so you can either be sensetive to the fact that there are things going on that she may not be sure how to deal with...or you can keep being mad and be miserable...choice is yours!!

And tiger...there should be a compromise with that rule..I have come to the understanding my husband can not read my mind...and he has come to the understanding that even though I say leave me alone..I don't mean it...and most times he will give me some space and then come and give me a hug..and I appreciate him for that...compromise people...THAT is a simple concept.....

how about just answering the question correctly or do not get mad if we take your answer as the truth. We know women can since they do that on everything else :surprised:
2006/11/17, 12:14 PM
I can't believe I am going to say this, but I agree with atiger.

I do try....I really do...I've learned alot...but you guys aren't stupid...if your wife is OBVIOUSLY POed...and she says nothing is wrong...you aren't idiots...you don't say to yourself...oh great...she really isn't mad...you use it as an EXCUSE to say..well I asked, and leave it alone...and thats just lazy...most of the time I do say whats wrong..or I say to give me a minute if I'm to mad to talk about it...but sometimes I will say nothing...because its easier, and lazy...so the compromise is I rarely will say nothing if something is wrong...and he rarely will let it go if I DO say nothing.

If Im ticked off and my wife asks me what is wrong, I tell her. Letting it fester does not help. We are not stupid but why keep pushing if they do not want to say anything. i do not care if my wife does not want to answer just do not get mad at me when I let it be.

Mutt we have trashed your thread but you started it

"It's not always rainbows and butterflies. It's comprimise that moves us along."

This is the bottom line of relationships. The sooner we can all accept it as reality, the sooner we can work stuff out.

Mutt....your wife needs some support. There are lots of BIG things going on in your life right now. It's the time for you guys to cling to each other no matter how crappy the other person is acting. I'm gonna bet that the positive this morning ha a lot to do with how she was acting. On a positive note though....false negatives happen all the time on HPT's. False positives are pretty rare. I'm keepin my fingers crossed for ya!

Everything will be ok Mutt. A little birthday celebration with some presents, a good mushing card... you will just fine and dandy. Sometimes you have got to hug them even when you want to choke them (did I say that out loud)

Well then my dear...take a break. Go sit on the toilet for 10 minutes and just breathe. Or cry. Crying helps me. A lot. I cried for like...2 hours last night just because. Great stress reliever.

So i finally got aholdof the wife...my son Alex is being very bad and he was to go to her moms for the night (yay us) but cause we are trying to gt rid of his bad behavior and are in treatment for this, he had his trip to Grammys house taken away.....so, No Alex being Gone, No Joey getting a little nap and going to bed early equals no alone time for us that we were planning on. She is not mad at me that I know of anymore...just ready to really go nuts on Alex.
