    im 14 6'1 a freshman and an Outside Linebacker and Wide Receiver for my highschool football team i can max my bench press at 165 3 times and normally i can do 145 6 times is this good or should i try less weights but more reps?

    some people say no pain no gain and to me this is true because if your not sore from a workout you havent pushed yourself enough if you want to gain muscle you rip the muscle fibers and what causes more strength is when those fibers grow back
